The Yari Kanna is one of the oldest style planes still available and is used to smooth boards that have been hewn with an adze. Available in small and large sizes, these age-old tools are still made with the best quality steel, very similar to blue steel. The tools’edge retention is incredible. Handles are made from Ho (a relative of Magnolia).
