Our 6½˝ Santoku Knife is a centuries home style knife. It is intended to cut vegetable, meat and fish. The Japanese name for this style of knife refers to the three parts of the blade used for cutting: the tip, the edge and the heel of the blade. This regional version is a bit heavier than the standard version and has more of a curve to the blade making it particularly suitable for cutting leafy vegetables such as lettuce. Blade length is 6½˝ and overall length is 12¼˝.
