It is made of stainless steel and brass with low abrasion 'Ertalite' rollers. Since the rollers are outboard of the blade, the jig is rock steady and will not wobble as you hone. Two polycarbonate washers are included to cope with non-parallel chisels. The brass bobbin diameters are turned to plus or minus 0.001" and are selectively assembled in matched pairs to be within a tolerance of 3/10000". This coupled with the 'Ertalite' rollers being turned in pairs means Richard has done his best to give you an accurate product. Instructions are included.
