Right Skew Rebate Plane (Kiwa Kanna)

Rebate Planes are used for planing rebates both with and across the grain. They are also used for planing the edges of raised panels. The blades are laminated white steel mounted in a Japanese White Oak body. Since the blade is mounted at a skew angle, it is handed and will give exceptionally smooth cuts. Overall length is 9-1/4˝, width is 2-1/8˝ and width of blade is 1-3/8˝. Shown is the right hand version.
