MicroPlane 8" Snap-in Rasps have sharp teeth making it possible to use a very comfortable "draw filing" technique. The blade is held nearly sideways and pulled along the work, like a drawknife or a spokeshave. When used in this manner, Microplane Rasps have a smooth, precise shaving action that is especially good for trimming and straightening the edges of boards and panels. The snap-in design with interchangeable, reversible blades which snap quickly and securely into the comfortable handle are durable, non-clogging and rust resistant. 8" Snap-in 90° Coarse Blade, 8" long and 1" wide. The razor sharp edges of this stainless steel blade are acid etched for long life and will never corrode. The chips that are produced are slightly heavier than sawdust, so they fall to the floor rather than creating a cloud of dust.
