Jim originally made these knives at the request of a bowl carver. However, they have proved very useful for other types of carving as well. These bent knives have a single edge and come in right and left versions for versatility. They will prove invaluable where ever a scooping cut is made. The handle is made from cherry wood and is large enough to accommodate both hands. A right handed carver would use the right bent knife for cuts made away from the body and the left hand knife for cuts toward the body. Blade length is 2" and overall length is 9- 3/4".
