Our 9½˝ Damask Slicing Knife is suitable for all types of slicing and food preparation, particularly in those situations requiring a touch of elegance. The blade is a triple lamination that reproduces a traditional Damascus surface. The two outer layers are each made of 32 alternating layers of nickel and stainless steel polished to reveal a pattern that is unique as a finger print. The core material is the new SKD11 stainless die steel hardened to Rc64 for exceptional sharpness and edge holding properties. This manufacturing process produces a rust resistant blade that will maintain its perfection over the years. A polished hexagonal Ebony wood handle enhances the beauty of each blade.
