Dubuque Clamp Works is a small family run business dedicated to producing the finest clamps made. You can buy similar clamps from other manufactures, but they will not last as long nor work as well. Handscrews are preferred by cabinetmakers because they will not mar the work surface. They can apply a broad area of evenly distributed pressure or concentrate pressure at a single point. Dubuque Clamp Works' handscrews are the finest quality hard maple. The true, deep cut Acme threads perovide maximum engagement, which results in spindles of high strength and low friction. All metal parts are plated to prevent rust. The extra large handles have heavy steel ferrules pinned to the spindles with a heavy spiral pin. Size #14 with a 7"x 10-1/4" capacity.
