Prepare to enjoy shaping with more control and precision. TheMicroplaner Round, Large Rasp is used to enlarge holes and shape inside curves, but cuts much faster and leave a smoother finish than any similar tools. Use as an alternative to coarse sandpaper, when freehanding wood shapes, or when adjusting holes for standard door hardware. Each shaper create small shavings, which are much healthier than dust particles, and can be used on wood, plastic, sheetwork, rubber, and similar materials. Measures 12 1/2" x 5/8" x 1".

Constructed from tough, fully hardened stainless steel, MicroPlane tools feature razor sharp teeth that cut 10 times faster & hold a cutting edge 10 time longer than similar sheet metal tools. MicroPlane tools are designed to cut hardwood, softwood, masonite, particle board & other relatively soft materials. The round blade comes equipped with its own comfortable Santaprene handle. It is used like other round files & rasps to cut flat bottomed notches & triangular grooves, but it cuts much faster & leaves a smoother finish than any similar tool.
