This vise is particularly suited for carvers and wood sculptors or as an auxiliary bench vise. It is patterned after an old European design and is now made in Taiwan of cast iron and steel. The jaws can be tightened parallel to each other or individually swiveled to accept tapered pieces. Three 7/8˝ x 3˝ x 4-3/4˝ hard wood jaws can be easily modified to accept oddly shaped pieces or replaced entirely for a special job. The vise mounts to your bench through a 5/8˝ or larger hole and is held firmly in place by a large cast iron wing nut. It can be installed and dismantled in a matter of seconds. The vise swivels through 360° and accept pieces up to 6¼˝ thick.

Heavy cast iron vise body swivels 360 degrees. Jaws are 4-7/8" wide with maximum opening 6". Both jaws swivel so you can clamp virtually any shape. Secure to bench or table top up to 4-1/2" thick with threaded rod and large winged nut.
